Brain Health

Depression, Anxiety, Attention Deficit, Autism, Alzheimer, Dementia can all be treated the traditional way with talk therapy and medication but it also can be treated by getting to the root causes of our brain’s disease. This means that everything you do to your body including food, exercise, sleep, and relaxation , you do to your brain.

Getting to the root of the problem is exactly what the 70+ doctors, scientist, researchers, spiritual leaders, and investigative journalists will be sharing with you in the documented series Broken Brain by Mark Hyman, MD.

Hormones that affect our mood, Serotonin, and affect our sleep, Melatonin, are made in the gut by your “good” gut bacteria. Your gut has 100 trillion bacteria, 3 pounds worth!  These bacteria tell your brain what to do ( “gut” instinct) and significantly influence your mood. Having more “good” gut bacteria than “bad” gut bacteria is critical to  re-balancing your brain’s health. Food is the most powerful intervention and the first step to resetting your brain’s dis-ease.

Omega 3's Fatty Acids

Omega 3’s are essential fatty acids that nourish our brains. Essential means that our body cannot make it so we must ingest this nutrient. Our brains are made up of 60% fat and Omega 3’s make up half of them!
